The Journey to Poland – For Adults

HaMeorer is Israel's leading training center in the field of trips to Poland, with over three decades of experience. We invite you, as adults, to take part in a meaningful, formative, and profound experience that will stay with you for the rest of your lives.

The journey to Poland organized by the Meor Training Center is not just a journey into the past. What makes this journey unique is the attempt to connect the personal with the national. During the journey, we will deepen our connection to our Jewish roots, reflect on our lives today and our future as individuals, as a people, and as a society.

The power of the Awakener's trip to Poland lies in the guidance and dialogue that develops among the group members who are going on the trip together.

During the trip, we will visit sites that preserve the story of the Jewish people in exile, centers of Jewish life in Krakow, Lublin, and Warsaw, and Jewish towns where traces of Jewish life remain. At the Auschwitz-Birkenau, Majdanek, and Treblinka extermination sites, we will tell the darkest and most terrible story of humanity, the Holocaust of European Jewry. We will learn the stories of different people during the Holocaust, the dilemmas they faced, and the range of choices they made.
